An attractive low maintenance garden.

This garden was designed for a show house in the Fishing Village phase of a new housing development.

The brief : A low maintenance garden with hard surfaces such as paving and gravel as opposed to bark and turf, with plants in pots and tubs.

The show home is designed to appeal to people of all ages with the idea that it could be a second home.

The fishing village theme needed to be incorporated in a romantic way but not be too thematic.

The garden is flat, quite small and is surrounded largely by 7ft high brick and rendered walls, so couldn't include too many features without feeling over-crowded.

The Design
