Wicker
Obelisks
How's
this for an instant fix?
Most
people's gardens don't exactly sparkle in winter, but we have a
way to make yours shimmer and shine all the way through to spring!
INGREDIENTS:
- 3
wicker obelisks - the sort we sell at the garden centre for training
sweet peas, clematis or even runner beans up in the summer.
- 1
tin gold paint spray.
METHOD:
- Stand
obelisks on newspaper or a dustsheet out of doors.
- Spray
with a single coat of gold spray paint and leave to dry.
- Position
in borders for a welcome splash of gold, or group together on
the lawn (pressed into the turf) and create your own budget sculpture!
Your
obelisks may fade in time; this, of course, isn't necessarily a
disadvantage, because by the time summer comes, you can use them
to support gorgeous climbers, enabling you to fill the garden with
colour and scent!
