Portholes were the inspiration for a series of stainless steel lights, set into decking boards positioned around the edge of the balcony at 45 degrees, so that the beams point back, lighting up the sitting area and doors into the building.

These lights are bulky and were set onto individual wooden circles to raise them away from the wall and floor.
