Living Willow Workshop
Guest Presenter: - Martin Chappell
Saturday 24th September 2005
2 pm

Coloured willows are very pretty during the winter months including albs- yellow or orange bark and daphnoides - purple or red bark. Willow planting is normally done from December - March. The rest of the year dry willow bark can be bought and soaked to make structures that are not living.
Create a living willow structure in our display garden with Martin Chappell, which will grow and develop within its surroundings, to create a lasting statement for generations to come. Martin will also show you how to achieve a living willow structure in your own garden so that you get the pleasure for many years to come.

Fruit Trees
Guest Presenter: - Mike Wooloff
Saturday 29th October 2005
2 pm

Fruit baring trees come in all shapes and sizes. Try to choose a tree that will thrive and complement your garden. Choose a smaller, dwarf variety if space is limited.
Growing fruit trees in your garden is decorative, interesting and rewarding. Fruit trees have been cultivated since before roman times, but nowadays fruit growing is seen as difficult.
Gain the basic knowledge you will need when choosing your tree, planting it and providing general aftercare.

Autumn In The Garden
Guest presenter: - Mike Harris
Saturday 26th November 2005
2pm

During those dull autumn days, add a splash of colour into your garden by planting shrubs, conifers and bare rooted trees.

Remember autumn is nature's time for planting shrubs and trees. The cooler temperature above ground means that shoots, stems and leaves are only growing slowly, while below ground where the soil temperature is still relatively warm, root growth and the spread of roots is encouraged.
Join Mike who will advise you on what plants to buy for spectacular border arrangements.

Please let us know if you would like to attend any of our courses, as there are limited spaces available.

StyleGardens Christmas Party

There was a wonderful response to our Christmas party last year; over 100 members came along to celebrate the festive season with us. So why not join us this year.
We will have a delicious festive buffet, which I am sure will tantalise everyone's taste buds and you can also try our special punch. Don't worry if you have the car, we also have a very tasty non-alcoholic punch too.

You will be greeted with roasted chestnuts, and have plenty of time for some good old retail therapy without the hustle and bustle of town, as the shop will only be open to Christmas party guests. Just for the evening, we will have special members only reductions on items around the store.

For the children we hope to have a very special visit from Father Christmas so don't forget to bring your lists (I have mine ready). In addition Georgina will be entertaining the children with balloon modelling and face painting.

This is a very popular event so if you wish to attend please contact our Customer Services Department as soon as possible as we only have limited spaces available. Contact us on 02920 598118, or fill in the form which is situated on the back of our newsletters.
